英語学修イベント「ELSCチャレンジ」は、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大防止のため授業の開始時期が遅れ、大学への入構もできない状況の中、

学生たちに英語学修の機会を提供しようと、2020年春にスタートしました。

過去の応募作品は、どれも各学生の個性や英語学修の努力が伝わる良い作品で、

その中でも英語教育センターが特に優秀な作品と判断した応募作品を選考・表彰し、授賞セレモニーも行っています。

The event called "ELSC Challenge", was created because the start of the semester was delayed to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, and it was not possible for students to enter the university.
The event started in the spring of 2020 to provide students with the opportunity to study English.
All of the entries are good work that conveys the individuality of each student and their efforts of learning English.
Among them, the English Learning Support Center selects and commends the submitted works that are then judged to choose the best work, and hold an award ceremony.

Vol.1：「自己紹介ビデオ or ダイアリーチェック」

年度の始めにもかかわらず、キャンパスへの入構ができなかったこともあり、

自己紹介ビデオや日々の出来事について日記形式で送ってもらいました。

Vol.1: "Self-introduction video or diary check"
Despite it being the beginning of the school year, students were unable to enter the campus, so
we had them send in a self-introduction video or daily events in a diary format.

Vol2：「残暑見舞いコンテスト」

夏の思い出について英語で書き、写真や絵を添えて送ってもらいました。

Vol. 2: "Summer greeting contest"
Students wrote about their summer memories in English and sent them with drawings and or pictures.

Vol3：「2020ベストメモリーコンテスト」

コロナにより日常が変わった激動の2020年を振り返り、

心に残った出来事や思いについて英語でエッセイを書き、応募していただきました。

Vol. 3: "2020 Best Memory Contest"
Looking back at the turbulent year, 2020, that changed everyday life as we know it due to the spread of the Coronavirus,
students wrote an essay in English about the events and thoughts that remained in their mind.

Vol4：「Dear Future Meコンテスト」

1０年後の自分自身に思いを馳せ、未来の自分への期待やメッセージを英語で書いて応募していただきました。

Vol. 4: "Dear Future Me Contest"
Students thought about themselves 10 years from now. They were asked to write their expectations and send messages to their future selves in English.
